Improvement of image quality when shooting in the long exposure mode. 1.01 from Ver.1.00 incorporates the following issues: The phenomenon is fixed that in rare cases, established customized menu settings are reset to factory default setting when the camera is turned off. The release notes simply state: The firmware update Ver. You can find the firmware fix to download here. Speculation centred around a slow-to-charge capacitor but no confirmation has been forthcoming. I and many others reported the problem once, although some apparently experienced similar symptoms twice or more. Fuji remains tight-lipped about the actual causes of the issue, although they had previously advised that a fully-charged battery should remain in place for at least 24 hours before use. This issue, irritating though not fatal, has cast a shadow over the otherwise successful launch of the eagerly-awaited successor to the X-Pro1. 8bf's you have.no connection whatever with LR and the Plug-in of course IS fully installed and accepted by your computer so PS sees it as OK and fully working.Fuji have this morning announced a new firmware version for the X-Pro2, to address the issue reported here and elsewhere of fresh-out-of-the-box camera bodies losing most of their user settings. then when PS starts every time it will auto load the PhotoNinja. 8bf file and Paste that into the separate Plug-ins sub-folder as part of the installation of your Photoshop. 8bf file for it.which is then of course known to your computer as properly installed somewhere. maybe better stll.IF your PhotoNinja is already quite well installed and working in LR. put that location into the Preferences section anyway and see if it sets up PS to load it better anyway. IF your PhotoNinja is indeed already installed into a separate folder in C:\Program Files\. See if that makes any difference.assuming you want to have PhotoNinja available both in LR and PS. with that added to PS in the Preferences, every time you start PS it will not only look for Plug-ins in the more usual place but if your PhotoNinja is installed somewhere else, it will ALSO look in there when it loads all the Plug-ins. top space of that is a place that you enter in the actual location of your PhotoNinja Plug-in as installed. In Photoshop go to Menu-Edit-Preferences (bottom of the list) and in the Preferences screen there is an item for 'Plug-ins'. hopefully you know WHERE your PhotoNinja is actually installed and where the. it maybe just isn't finding the Plug-in install EVERY time.īut if this is so.there is probably an easy way around it. If that IS the case I'm sure THAT is why your CS6 is giving you some problem. I've no idea HOW you install such things to use in LR but it sounds as though the Plug-in MAY be installed for LR use in perhaps some different way than it is generally for use with PS. Now you say that you installed and used your Photo Nina into Lightroom. and THAT is where Photoshop usually looks and expects to find the ,8bf file to run the Plug-in in PS. the respective Plug-in is usually installed generally onto your computer (as Photo Nina would be) and all these such Plug-ins most generally get installed to a folder by their name on your C: drive\Program Files\. always the same for as long as I can remember. so I know how Plug-ins do generally work in Photoshop. have tried it but just don't like it as much as the Photoshop which I've been using now for some 12 years and have it stuffed with loads of excellent Plug-ins and Actions gathered over the years.
